Trick-or-treaters came out Saturday for Halloween events all across Texoma, where the weather held through the evening.

The city of Durant closed Main Street for its annual trick-or-treat event, which began well before dark.

Thousands of children and families filled the street, and downtown businesses set up booths to hand out candy.
