SNYDER, Texas (KOSA) - The Snyder Police Department was involved in a standoff lasting up to seven hours Thursday, Nov. 5, with a suspect who had a felony warrant.

According to Snyder police, officers from the department and deputies from the Scurry County Sheriff's Office went to a home in the area of 43rd Street in Snyder to serve an arrest warrant for a felony.

When officers arrived at the home, the person refused to leave, and a standoff followed.
