A Hill Country fundraiser raised more than $134,900 for the Stonewall and Johnson City volunteer fire departments, providing money for equipment used by departments that responded to last month's devastating flooding.

Garrison Brothers Distillery co-founders Dan and Nancy Garrison recently presented the departments with checks from proceeds raised during the distillery's annual Winner Winner Chicken Dinner in June.

The money was divided evenly between the two volunteer fire departments.
