ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - Much of Texas is experiencing gas above the $4 mark, but experts have tips to help drivers save at the pump.

According to AAA, the average price for regular unleaded in Odessa is $4. 05.

Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, said many drivers don't realize how much money they lose getting gas from the same neighborhood pump every time."A lot of Americans in their daily lives just don't pay attention to something like that and unfortunately, they end up spending more money than they need to on filling their tank up," De Haan said.
