(KPHO/Gray News) - A football player in Arizona says his high school playing career is over after being dismissed from the team following a dispute over a play call.

Gunner Brewer, a senior at Desert Ridge High School, said the situation unfolded on the final play of the game two weeks ago when he was quarterbacking the team.

"Basically called the play, trusted my running back behind me who scored a touchdown, definitely was rolling with him," Brewer said.
