(KGNS) - Neighbors in the El Azteca neighborhood say they are worried and upset over the installation of buoys in the river.

Crews continued placing the water-based barriers at the Las Palmas Recreational Area on Friday, Oct. 16.

The installation continued despite the mayor asking the federal government this week to pause the process until the river and water impacts are known.
