Reeves County firefighter deployed to battle North Central Texas wildfires

A Reeves County firefighter has been deployed to North Central Texas to help battle multiple major wildfires as a Strike Team Leader Trainee.

REEVES COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - A local firefighter is on the front lines battling multiple major wildfires across North Central Texas.

At the request of the Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS), Reeves County Emergency Services District No. 1 deployed Engineer Tyler Raynes back on August 5.

Raynes is serving as a Strike Team Leader Trainee.
