WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Ken Paxton returned to his college town and issued a rallying cry for Republicans to get out to the polls and vote.U.S. Rep. Pete Sessions, McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara, state Rep. Brian Harrison and former Texas state representative Doc Anderson were among the people who introduced him."Washington and polished politicians like James Talarico talk about working families, I was actually raised in one," Paxton said.
"So when I'm out on the road today, I'm not meeting strangers, I'm meeting neighbors just like the ones I grew up with."Paxton talked about gas, grocery, insurance and electric prices going up, saying that "nobody in Washington seems to have noticed or cared.""My agenda is very simple: I'm going to fight so that every Texan can buy a home, raise a family and live a healthy life without struggling to make ends meet," Paxton said.
During his rally, Paxton urged every Republican to pray for Texas, join his team online and spend 10 minutes each day asking people to vote for him in the midterm elections.
