Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Monday delivered what appeared to be more good news to state and county property owners who oppose the introduction of data center campuses in their communities.

The governor sent a letter to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality halting all permits sought by data centers until ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of Texas) completes an audit.
