COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - A Texas A&M University administrator is behind bars, charged with a first-degree felony that carries a possible sentence of 25 years to life in prison, according to jail records.

Darvis Griffin, 55, serves as Texas A&M's executive director of information technology.

He was arrested Sept. 3 by Texas A&M University police on a warrant out of McLennan County, charged with continuous sexual abuse of a young child.
