The Kerrville City Council has approved additional funding for two grant programs within Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone No. 1, expanding opportunities for local businesses to make exterior and parking lot improvements.

The council approved an additional $50,000 for the Exterior Enhancement Grant Program and $50,000 for the Parking Lot Grant Program.

The additional funding will help support qualified businesses recovering from flood impacts, as well as businesses looking to refresh, improve or enhance the appearance of their properties.
