BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Bryan ISD held a special meeting to discuss several agenda items including the Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election.

On Monday night, board members gathered together to discuss and ask questions about the district's Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election, known as VATRE, which could raise the district's tax rate by two cents.

The two-cent tax rate increase would work out to about $42 a year for the average household.
