The family of a San Antonio mother who died mid-pregnancy from medical complications filed suit Tuesday against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and others, claiming an abortion could have saved her life.
Tierra Walker, 37, died on Dec. 30, 2024, as a result of hypertensive heart disease with superimposed preeclampsia, court documents stated.
The lawsuit said Walker was 20-weeks pregnant at the time of her death.
