Houston firefighters responded to Waltrip High School Wednesday morning after reports of a gas leak, according to the Houston Fire Department.

HFD crews were called to the school at 1900 W.

34th St. at about 9:14 a.m. Firefighters found elevated carbon monoxide levels in the basement associated with hot water heaters.
