The Pizza Hut Foundation has also awarded a $10,000 Slice of Literacy Grant to the Coleman Public Library.

Pizza Hut representatives arrived at the Brownwood and Coleman libraries Thursday, where they presented Brownwood library director Becky Isbell and Coleman library director Sue Dossey with certificates recognizing each library's "outstanding commitment to literacy and community outreach." Isbell said the Brownwood library will use the grant to purchase a book vending machine which will allow children to earn tokens, then redeem the tokens for books.
