A person was found dead in the roadway near 11450 Bissonnet Street around 1:47 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Houston Police Department.

An HFD ambulance crew was traveling through the area when they found the victim with severe head trauma.

Officials said the victim appeared to have been struck by a vehicle.
