When Tivy head coach Curtis Neill repeatedly said, "We have an arsenal of weapons," he wasn't kidding.

Tivy overcame injuries to key players to defeat Taylor 79-56 in District 13-4A Division I play Friday night at Antler Stadium, utilizing a reshuffled lineup and a sophomore junior varsity quarterback.

With standout quarterback Cohen Stehling and superstar receiver Kyrin Armelin out with significant injuries, Neill said he and his coaching staff reconfigured the lineup and planned to alternate backup quarterback Brodie Dale and sophomore Jake Riley, who was called up from the junior varsity team Sunday via a text message.
