The Kerrville Genealogical Society will hold a general meeting and public program at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, in the auditorium of the Guadalupe River Basin Natural Resources Center, 125 Lehmann Drive, Kerrville.

Lloyd Shenberger will present "Organizing Genealogy Research." The presentation will examine the Genealogy Research Cycle to provide a system for organizing research, using the Genealogical Proof Standard as a road map and the levels of evidence to arrive at a proof statement.

Developing research plans and using tools such as timelines and research logs allow researchers to gather information and keep it organized.
