A widespread communications outage impacted internet and cell service in Fredericksburg on the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 22, following two separate incidents, including damage caused by a vehicle crash into a pole.

AT&T and Spectrum both confirmed service disruptions in the area and said crews were working to restore service.

An AT&T spokesperson said the company was working with a third-party fiber provider to get services back up and running.
