The Texas Master Naturalist Hill Country Chapter will host its monthly meeting Monday, Aug. 24, offering both in-person attendance at Herff Farm, 33 Herff Road in Boerne, and online participation via Zoom.

The public is invited to attend.

Ben Pfeiffer, founder of Firefly Conservation & Research, will present "Luminous Landscapes: Fireflies in the Heart of Texas." The talk will discuss the types of fireflies (Lampyridae) found in Texas and across the United States.
