The Hill Country Charity Ball Association (HCCBA) has selected five nonprofits as beneficiaries of its 2027 event, continuing a recent shift toward supporting multiple charities as flood recovery continues to reshape giving patterns in the community.

This year's beneficiaries are Kerr First Responder Alliance of Counseling (Kerr FRAC), Blind Faith Foundation, Courage Beyond Combat, Hill Country Crisis Council and Pregnancy Resource Center.

The association said it again chose multiple beneficiaries after another year of flooding compounded the community's ongoing recovery.
