After a nightmarish Week 3, the Brownwood Lions will attempt to re-establish the level of play exhibited in their first two games of the 2026 high school football campaign as they visit the Class 4A Division II No. 10 Graham Steers Friday night.

Kickoff between the Lions (1-2) and Steers (3-0) is slated for 7 p.m. at Newton Field.

Brownwood started the season with a 13-7 win at Abilene Wylie, then fell to 4A Division I No. 1 Stephenville, 28-24, in the final minute.
