Another community group has joined the chorus of advocates urging the Texas Department of Transpiration to speed up enhancements to problem-plagued Texas 46.

The Pipe Creek Community Association unanimously adopted a resolution Aug. 15 supporting the acceleration of the funded 46 West safety project, according to a release.

Board members said the resolution will be sent to TxDOT Executive Director Marc Williams, TxDOT San Antonio District Engineer Charles Benavidez, Bandera County Commissioner Troy Konvicka and state lawmakers.
