A former teacher was arrested and charged this week after he allegedly sexually abused a student at the school he once worked at, according to the Friendswood Police Department.

Lewis Stott, 32, is accused of continuous sexual abuse of a young child, and Friendswood PD confirmed the victim was a student.

Stott recently worked at The Galloway School in several roles, including physical education teacher, second-grade teacher and soccer club coach, according to police.
