CYPRESS, Texas - A woman was hospitalized after a medical emergency caused her to lose control of her vehicle and crash into the side of a Cypresswood home.

The homeowner Mark Griffis tells KPRC 2 he was lying in bed watching TV when he heard a loud bang and felt the entire house shake.

"I saw a bright flash outside of the window, so I knew lighting had stuck and then the house just shook the whole house, I thought we had been hit by lighting," Griffis said.
