LAREDO, Tex.

(KGNS) - A parked car caught fire off South Highway 83 around 10 a.m., sparking a dry grass blaze that spread quickly under extreme heat and high winds, according to Laredo Fire Department officials.

The flames triggered a chain reaction, engulfing another nearby car and a parked food truck on the property.
