A suspect fled on foot after crashing on the far West Side during a pursuit, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Authorities responded around 9 a.m. Wednesday to the U.S. Highway 90 access road near Hunt Lane.

A DPS sergeant at the scene told KSAT the suspect crashed on the opposite side of the highway before fleeing on foot.
