CYPRESS, Texas - The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable's Office says a puppy is now recovering thanks to the actions of a young boy in Cypress.

The agency says the boy, named Logan, discovered the puppy trapped deep within a storm drain in the 14400 block of Cypress Rosehill Road in Cypress on Monday night.

Logan called Precinct 4 deputies who arrived and helped rescue the puppy.
