GATESVILLE, Texas (KWTX) - A parolee accused in a string of high-profile Gatesville burglaries is facing an additional felony charge after being served with a new warrant in jail.
On Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, the Coryell County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division served Roger Preston Simmons, 41, with an outstanding warrant for burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony.
