LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - (News release from City of Lubbock) Beginning Tuesday, August 11, Teinert Construction will close 15th Street, from University Avenue to Avenue X, to deconstruct tower cranes.

The work is scheduled to be completed by August 17, weather permitting.

The City urges motorists to use an alternate route if possible, eliminate distractions, and plan for extra travel time when driving through the area.
