ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - A mistrial has been declared in the murder trial for Roman Aguilar Alvarado in connection with the 2019 shooting death of Brandon Swinney, which was held in an Ector County courtroom.

Alvarado was on trial for the killing of Brandon Swinney in Odessa back in 2019.

No word on what is expected to happen with Alvarado or the case after this, or whether a retrial will happen.
