Palomino Fest, the Labor Day Weekend extravaganza featuring rodeo, a carnival, local vendors and live music, brought 19,621 attendees to Uvalde to celebrate Southwest Texas' cultural heritage and Tejano roots.

This year's event marked 30 years of the festival, which began in 1996 and is organized by the Uvalde Festival and Events Association.
