WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A piece of Texas law enforcement history is back on the road, the Mustang M6-380, a fully restored 1986 Ford Mustang Special Service Package and former Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol vehicle.

According to a Texas DPS Central Texas Region social media post, the M6-380 has been carefully preserved by retired officer Robert Arena and a team of law enforcement enthusiasts.

The car is one of just 415 Mustang SSPs Ford produced in 1986 for police duty.
