An 18-wheeler crashed into a bus shelter on the I-10 frontage road near Mercury Drive in Houston, injuring one person with non-life-threatening injuries.

An 18-wheeler crashed into a bus shelter along the I-10 frontage road near Mercury Drive Wednesday morning, according to METRO and Houston TranStar.

The crash happened on IH-10 at Mercury Drive and involved a heavy truck.

METRO said the 18-wheeler struck a bus shelter.
