HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- The man accused of fatally shooting a 5-year-old girl in northwest Harris County admitted to investigators that he fired shots at the vehicle the child was in, court records show.

ABC13 was told he wasn't present for that setting because he was "being combative." The Harris County Sheriff's Office said it was late on Saturday night when Porter fired shots into a car containing Monica Hicks and her five children.
