Fredericksburg City Council continued discussions on a proposed $80. 8 million budget for fiscal year 2027 during a workshop Tuesday, July 14.

The spending plan for fiscal year 2027 is close to flat and projects both expenses and revenues city-wide to drop by 1%.

Just over a third of the city-wide revenue falls into the general fund, which will pay for things like city personnel, road repairs, park maintenance and administrative costs.
