A piece of equipment on the roof of Centennial Tower in Houston's Texas Medical Center caught fire Friday, prompting emergency response from Houston fire crews.

Emergency and fire crews responded to Centennial Tower in the Texas Medical Center after Houston Methodist says a piece of equipment on the roof of the building caught on fire Friday.
The fire was reported at 6565 Fannin St. SKY 2 video showed black smoke billowing from the roof as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze.
In a statement, Houston Methodist confirmed the fire and says it caused minor damage to a small section of roof insulation.
