(KSWO) - Police in Duncan have arrested Jerry Herberger, a former Stephens County judge, following a reported firearm incident involving trick-or-treaters on Halloween night.

According to the Duncan Police Department, officers responded to Linwood Lane on Saturday, Oct. 31, at about 8:02 p.m. Police said they received reports that someone had allegedly fired a gun in the direction of trick-or-treaters.

Police said that as officers approached the residence, Herberger reportedly pointed a firearm at one of the responding officers.
