During Tuesday morning's meeting, the Brownwood City Council approved a resolution for a local match and authorized the City Manager to submit an application to the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration Disaster Supplemental Grant Program for the Camp Bowie Lift Station project.

With submission of this EDA grant, the City of Brownwood is required to provide a 20% match of the total cost for construction, project management, project inspection, grant administration and engineering.

The current Engineers Opinion of Probable Cost (OPPC) inclusive of the items above is $12,618,700, leaving the 20% match amount being $2,523,739. 86.
