Several of Houston's best-known landmarks, including Daikin Park, the Bank of America Tower and Houston City Hall, are set to shine teal as part of a worldwide effort to raise awareness about Alzheimer's disease.

The landmarks are participating in the Alzheimer's Foundation of America's annual Light the World in Teal campaign, which brings together buildings and other sites to show support for people living with Alzheimer's and their families.

The campaign's main lighting date is Nov. 2, with more than 1,750 sites across all 50 states and 17 other countries and territories participating.
