League City Animal Care is working to find a cat that has been spotted with red dye or paint on her fur.

The team helping the cat says they are aware of the situation and are actively working to trap her and bring her into their care so she can receive the medical attention and support she needs.

In the meantime, residents are being asked not to attempt to catch the cat or leave food out for her.
