BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Brazos County Judge Duane Peters has terminated the county's prohibition on outdoor burning, effective immediately.

The order, signed Oct. 5, lifts a ban originally issued Sept. 1 by the Brazos County Commissioners Court for unincorporated areas of the county.

The ban had been set to remain in effect through Oct. 31.
