WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Thousands of students across Central Texas and the nation gathered around school flagpoles Wednesday morning for the annual See You at the Pole day of prayer.

The student-led event brought together classmates, teachers, and coaches before the morning bell at campuses across McLennan County and surrounding areas, including Crawford, McGregor, Hillsboro, Bosqueville, and Axtell.

Many of the local gatherings were spearheaded by student members and faculty advisors of campus Fellowship of Christian Athletes groups."This is See You at the Pole at Crawford, Texas," said Crawford High School senior Jackson Langford.
