An escaped Hays County Jail inmate who reportedly impersonated another prisoner was arrested Wednesday in Guadalupe County after a week on the run, authorities said Friday.

The inmate, 21-year-old Xavier Isiah Gutierrez, of Pearland, remained on the run for about a week before his re-arrest, according to the Hays County Sheriff's Office.
