SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - A downtown Sherman pastry shop that once struggled to stay open - and sold a truck to make it through Christmas - has more than doubled its weekly production after a series of viral TikTok videos brought customers from across North Texas and as far as Oklahoma.

The shop is now preparing to move to a new location on Houston Street, where it will relaunch under the name Sugarcito.

Co-owner Cynthia Gracia said the business started on a whim after her husband found the downtown location."My husband found this spot here, and it was just like, we're getting started. It was just all on a whim," Gracia said.
