Clay Bennett led a contingent of activists Tuesday, Oct. 13, to urge the Kerrville City Council to scrap its controversial automated license plate reader cameras.

At the meeting, Bennett claimed that he had made an open records request to the city for audits from the cameras.

He also claimed that his request was being 'actively fought against' by a city-hired attorney.
