Starting Monday, Travis County will begin construction at the intersection of Old San Antonio Road and Puryear Road near the Hays County line.

Crews will add a new westbound to northbound right turn lane and widen the southwest corner to improve safety.

Officials warn that the intersection may be closed for up to 180 days while work continues.
