A former teacher at Somerset Academy Collegiate was recently indicted on multiple charges in connection with separate incidents involving students, according to court documents.

Court documents obtained by KSAT show Jesse Orta, 34, was indicted on the following charges on Aug. 20: According to the indictments, the improper relationship accusations include sexual contact with two students between Nov. 1, 2023, and March 1, 2024.

The indictment for child sexual abuse material said Orta had "visual material" of a child under 18 years old in late September 2024. Orta is accused of recording a girl getting in and out of the shower, an arrest affidavit said.
