ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - A 16-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene after being hit by a vehicle on I-20 West early Tuesday.

According to DPS, the crash happened around 2:45 a.m. on Sept. 29, at mile marker 100 in Ector County.

A 2015 Dodge Challenger was driving westbound in the inside lane of I-20 when it hut a teen walking in the roadway, the report said.
