GRAHAM, Texas (KAUZ) - Some Graham residents are calling for changes to where certain books are shelved at the Graham Library, arguing that mature content could expose young readers to subjects they are not ready for.
Several Young County residents and advocates from outside the area spoke during a Graham City Council public hearing, asking the city to move books they consider inappropriate from the children's section to the adult section or remove them entirely.
The books were challenged over content involving drug use, sexual content, strong language, gun violence and racism.
